Elegant 1920s black satin dress in near mint condition!
MEASUREMENTS (from inside out):
Shoulders: 18”
Bust: 24” x 2
Waist: 23” x 2
Hips: 25” x 2
Length shoulder to hem: 47”
Shoulder to drop waist: 25”
Sleeve: 20”
This dress was made by an expert seamstress. The inside of the dress is lined with black netting. The netting has numerous tears but can be fixed with patience. It also has snaps.
The satin dress has three snaps on the shoulder and snaps on one side of the hips. The sleeves have wide openings. Each sleeve has a three leaf embroidery patch on two sides of each sleeve. These are accented with small satin balls.
The waist has a sewn on loose belt with the same satin accent buttons in the front. A very elegant and high end dress for its time.
CONDITION:
DRESS: EXCELLENT MINUS condition. No moth holes, tears or fading.
LINING: tears in netting. FAIR condition.
