Vintage Late 1930s, 1940s Crepe Rayon Dress and Bolero Volup

Vintage late 1930s, 1940s maroon rayon crepe beaded dress w bolero jacket. No label.

Nice volup size. The dress is slightly more of a Pantone 215 U if you have a formula guide. That being more maroon in color. The beading and soutache is in perfect condition on both the dress and the jacket. The color is remarkably uniform on both pieces. I see a tiny sunflower seed size bit of fade on the back skirt. A quarter size bit of fade on the back lower hem. Both are not noticeable. Because of the age and color, there is an overall very slight fade to dress. The dress has belt loops but no belt.

I am rating this dress as being in VERY GOOD condition.

The dress zips on the side and has its original zipper in great working order. The dress has a tie at the neckline and short sleeves. The jacket is a slip on with a tiny snap on the front.
