Lovely brown velvet picture hat from the early 1920s! The hat has unusual chenille stem accents across the crown. They chenille is not quite orange and not quite gold, but blend of the two.
The velvet and the chenille are in excellent condition! The feather is about 90% in good shape with a few chips on the spine.
The inside of the crown is silk and in excellent condition. The writing on the top of the crown appears to say “The Style Shop, Eugene Oregon” as best I can make it out.
The hat is made for a 22-23” circumference.
