This fabulous day dress from the 1940s is characterized by its utilitarian yet stylish design. It is a cream-colored dress with navy blue accents, featuring a collared neckline, shoulder pads, short sleeves with contrasting cuffs, and a button-down front. The buttons are a dark blue lucite.
The dress also has a matching belt with a buckle, accentuating the waistline, and asymmetrical navy blue fabric details on the hip. The hemline falls below the knees, typical of the era. No label. No pocket.
CONDITION: The dress is in EXCELLENT minus condition. The minus is a very slight difference in the cream color here and there, but totally unnoticeable. This is typical of any fabrics over 85 years old.
