This rayon crepe dress by New York Creations has a classic 1940s silhouette, with a fitted bodice, defined waist, and an A-line skirt that falls below the knee.
The shoulders are slightly padded, a common feature of 1940s fashion, giving the dress a structured look.
The background color is dark blue fabric with a small, repeating cherry print in red and green.
The dress has a V-neckline, and features long sleeves. The dress has a defined waist, accentuated by a matching fabric belt. The dress includes a peplum at the waist, which snaps on at one side to allow for full range to pull the dress when the side zipper is unzipped.
CONDITION:
The dress is in wonderful condition. I see no fading, holes, tears or other problems. The one issue which is common for vintage dresses is the inside lining on the belt is cracked in two places. However if the lining comes off the outer fabric is in excellent shape.
I rating this as being in EXCELLENT MINUS CONDITION.
